The kid was getting his arms caught in it as it came up over his head, so he took it off himself. His opponent was trying to take advantage of that and hit him. Later, the now-shirtless boy may have helped the white tee shirt come off and might even have torn it. That could be a fair-play turn-around. For you young fighters out there, this is a good lesson in why you should both strip to the waist before the fight. Only downside is, if you get busted, a teacher or cop won\'t have to guess who was fighting, but they usually figure it out quickly NEway.
